NATIONAL PROGRESSIVE ORGANIZATIONS

21 st Century Democrats
http://www.21stcenturydems.org
21st Century Democrats builds the Democratic farm team by electing progressive candidates to all levels of government. We're grassroots leaders—nobody knows field organizing like we do. We work in every corner of the nation, training thousands of activists to make the difference for progressive campaigns. Bottom line: our on the ground, door-to-door support wins elections.

Democratic Underground (DU)
http://www.democraticunderground.com/
Democratic Underground (DU) was founded on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2001 , to protest the illegitimate presidency of George W. Bush and to provide a resource for the exchange and dissemination of liberal and progressive ideas. Since then, DU has become one of the premier left-wing websites on the Internet, publishing original content six days a week, and hosting one of the Web's most active left-wing discussion boards.

MoveOn.org: Democracy in Action
http://www.moveon.org
MoveOn is a catalyst for a new kind of grassroots involvement, supporting busy but concerned citizens in finding their political voice. MoveOn is working to bring ordinary people back into politics. With a system that today revolves around big money and big media, most citizens are left out. When it becomes clear that our "representatives" don't represent the public, the foundations of democracy are in peril.

We will do this by building a nationwide member network that will provide much-needed early support to progressive candidates - helping them to win elections and bring our values back into the halls of government.
