On this occasion we held the first of our Just Progress Concert Series of fund raisers. It took place on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at the Tulsa Little Theater. The night was a great success with over 160 people in attendance. Barton and Sweeney are just outstanding. Together with Linda Barton, they played over two hours of non-stop music that kept the audience cheering. They played till they dropped. This was a very memorable occasion indeed. The newly renovated Tulsa Little Theater was a perfect setting for this concert.

| Tom and Francie Bomer were the magic that made this concert. They worked their behinds off to make this happen. Thanks Tom and Francie!
The poster for the concert was created by Debbie Saunders. This art set the mood for the web site pages announcing the concert. The posters were distributed by our volunteers to all parts of Tulsa.
All photos of the event were taken by Jim Norwood. We thank him for the permission to share them here with you.

| This montage of Barton and Sweeney and Linda Barton shows them in the past and the present. Entertaining audiences for years, doing what they do best.
| Tom Bomer opens the concert with the reason for this gathering, to listen to good music and to help elect Real Progressive Democrats.
| Linda Barton adds her vocals to George's voice and guitar to make riveting music. George and Linda began the show with quite a few pieces.
| Then Mark Sweeney joined the show, and what was already a great show just got better.
George and Mark burned their guitar strings while singing a tremendous selection of their original music.
| George just floored the audience with his lightning fast riffs.
| The Tulsa Little Theater stage was decorated with prairie grasses, which made a great setting for the performers.
| Here the audience listens to Linda Barton sing though provoking and poetic lyrics.
Their original works evoked a nice blend of thoughts and emotions in all of us. An evening enjoyed by all!
