Consistent with our Progressive vision of equal rights for all, we believe our system of justice must be dedicated to insuring that government neither permits nor engages in discrimination. Accordingly, we will fight for an America where no citizen is disfavored on account of race, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation.

Consistent with our vision of a society that provides maximum ordered liberty, we believe our system of justice must aggressively protect the constitutional rights and civil liberties of every citizen. Accordingly, we will fight for an America where public officeholders advocate for rather disparage constitutional rights and civil liberties. In this time of terror, we expressly reject the idea that we must abandon our constitutional rights and civil liberties to be safe.

Consistent with our vision of a strong national defense based on achieving economicand social justice through international cooperation and diplomacy, we believe our nation's domestic and foreign policies must respect the just aspirations of every nation and the integrity of the earth's environment. Accordingly, we will fight for an America that once again promotes international cooperation to prevent war, and nuclear proliferation, promote prosperity for all nations, and insure that future generations inherit a healthy environment and an abundance of nature's resources.
